Sometimes you just want an answer to a problem, concern, risk or wish. It would be so easy if you could have a guidebook teaching you how to manage all of these issues. Though you might be skeptical of its accuracy, astrology is an excellent way to get that little boost of confidence.
Most people know what their star sign is, but not what it means. A star sign defines your core personality, all of the traits that make you, you. This is the sign used to provide your horoscope, a prediction of your day, week or month.
And recently, astrology has made a comeback due to the rise in popularity of the app Co-Star.
Co-Star is unique compared to other astrology apps: it takes into account different factors regarding when you were brought into the world such as the exact time and location of your birth. In astrology terms, it takes your “natal” or “moon” chart and applies it to your daily going-abouts.
So, instead of providing a generalized horoscope solely based on your star sign, Co-Star provides you with an extremely personalized overview of your day.
The app gives you horoscopes based on your rising, or sun sign – the sign that defines how other people view you and your personality, along with your moon sign – your inner self.
You can also view your zodiac signs in correlation with different planets for more specific details about your personality. For example, your sign in Mercury describes how you communicate.
Despite these other personal factors, the most popular feature of the app is the daily reminder, a short mantra or helpful tip — that is sometimes scarily accurate.
The tip appears at the top of the app, with a lightbulb emoji next to it. It could tell you things like, “today is a good day to go outside,” or “pick up a book today.”
Sometimes, this small tip or prediction can be extremely accurate. And if it’s not, sometimes you can take it and apply it to your life later in the day or week.
Overall, astrology is a great way to navigate your day, month or year. Though it shouldn’t be your main source of advice, it’s definitely a useful resource to better understand the things that are happening around you.
So, ask your friends about their signs or use Co-Star to see how compatible you are. Either way, use astrology to your advantage, and you might just become a believer.
